PROJECTS ACHIEVED AS INFORMAL GROUP

Before the founding of the Association Komunitas

1. Research on interethnic relations in the Transylvanian towns and villages (camps EthnoArt Camp in Homorod - October 2001 and Sighisoara - October 2003) - photo galleries.

2. Co-organising the underground film festival Kinodrom on a beach in the village on May 2, jud Constanta (September 2005) - photo gallery.

3. Film screenings in Bucharest (Faculty of Sociology, different clubs).

4. Co-organising the (anthropologic) exhibition-experiment Domestic Red - communism and domestic space in Romania (in the Biennial of Young Artists, HAG Gallery Bucharest in 2004).

5. "Action from compassion" - project developed in the event Art Delivery (sharing of food to people living on the street).

6. Promoting alternative means of transport: the achievement and dissemination of the film Revolt of the Bicycles, which presents the advantages of cycling. download movie

7. Participation in the research project "Residents of the Poor Neighborhoods", which proposed to analyze social representations of these people. Cercetarea a urmarit reprezentarile sociale pe care mass-media le sustine in legatura cu locuitorii comunitatilor marginalizate (prin analiza de continut a articolelor aparute pe aceasta tema, in mai multe ziare de mare tiraj). The research followed the social representations that the media sustains in relation to the people of marginalized communities (through content analysis of articles published on this issue, in several large circulation newspapers). In parallel, in-depth interviews were conducted in these communities, to study self-representation of the inhabitants and the image that they have about the media.

8. Designing a communication campaign in schools and universities, to overcome stereotypes of the Roma. Following a series of brainstorming type discussions with students from different humanities colleges, 4 photos and 4 messages were chosen for a social campaign using posters, intended for exhibition in the space of several educational institutions in Bucharest.
