PROJECTS CARRIED OUT BY KOMUNITAS

1. Collaboration in the project of urban regeneration VA URMA, developed in the neighborhood Rahova. Komunitas held its activities in Rahova during September-October 2006.

2. Anti-discrimination action, November 2006: event, film screenings, concerts.

3. Research exploring the mechanisms of common land propreties organization in Romania, achieved with the support of organisations Allavida (UK) and the Foundation PACT (RO). During the period February-April 2007, Komunitas designed and developed a comprehensive plan for research, involving analysis of statistics and secondary existing texts in the field, discussions with lawyers and experts in the field, and discussions with ethnographs and anthropologists who have studied the traditional common land propreties, interviews with representatives of ministries and the Romsilva, in-depth interviews in the local community and city halls responsible.

4. "Mobile cinema", began in March 2007, in partnership with Projector Tank.

5. Participation, as a partner, at the international camp Ecotopia, august 2007: Komunitas members have prepared a series of workshops, film screenings, interviews, in this best practices and know-how project in the field of ecology.

6. Performing campaign "Velorutia" - to promote cycling, as a means of enviromentally friendly urban means of transportation. This campaign is carried out in partnership with the Association Bate Saua and group Velo City, with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bucharest (funded by the Matra - KAP).

7. At the end of March - early April, Komunitas Association organized the marathon-event KISS YOUR ENEMY. It was meant to bring into discussion the idea of both militarism and peaceful alternatives to solving political and economic tensions in the world today. The activities we have proposed are aimed to encourage debate on this topic, especially among young people. The key aim of these events was to make the people reflect and become more aware in connection with the important decisions that are taken in the world and the consequences of those decisions on our daily lives.DETAILS SOON

8. Mars-parada in Bucuresti, pe 25 mai de Ziua Internationala a Africii. Vino alaturi de noi la Casa Studentilor (Preoteasa), la ora 17.00. La 17.15 pornim catre Opera si Kogalniceanu. Iar la ora 18.00 marsul se va termina in parcul Cismigiu, unde vom mai ramane sa asistam la animatiile de strada din cadrul festivalului " Ia ARTitudine " .
